CORSICANA WOMAN DIED MONDAY NIGHT AND BURIED TUESDAY339

Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda R. Heathcock, aged 56 years, wife of J. A. Heathcock, who died at the family residence, 816 South Commerce street, Monday night at 11:30 o’clock after a brief illness, were held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock with burial in the Hamilton cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev. Clyde Griffin.

Mrs. Heathcock had resided in Corsicana for 15 years.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Ben F. Heathcock, Corsicana; a brother, J. T. Curry, Mexia; and two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Harris and Mrs. Ed Staggs, both of Corsicana.

The funeral was directed by the Corley Funeral Home.

Benny was adopted, according to researcher Barbara Cope.
