MILDRED O. N. MEYER626 LA VERNIA - Mildred Olive Nance Meyer, 92, of La Vernia, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005.
She graduated from Southwest Texas State Teachers College, was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in Weesatche, San Antonio, Selma/Converse, and Garland. She also worked alongside her husbandintheir family-owned business, Dutch Meyer's Fence Company, in San Antonio. She was a member of La Vernia United Methodist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Cindy Faith Biggerstaff of Lakehills; sons, Claude A. Meyer, Michael M. Meyer, and Patrick L. Meyer, all of La Vernia; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. today at Finch Funeral Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Leesville Cemetery. Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia, 830-779-1090.

MALCOLM DUTCH MEYER627 LA VERNIA - Malcolm Dutch Meyer, 78, of LaVernia, died Friday, July 17, 1992. Mr. Meyer was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Yorktown to the late Albert Lewis and Mathilda Menn Meyer. He married the former Mildred Nance on Jan. 13, 1940 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.. He was a bus driver for the City of San Antonio, was a fence builder and was a Lutheran. Survivors: wife, Mildred Meyer; daughter, Cindy Biggerstaff of Forney; sons, C.A. Meyer of San Antonio, Michael Meyer of Dallas and Patrick Meyer of. Lafayette, La.; sister, Evelyn Henderson of San Antonio; and two grandchildren. Visitation 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Finch Funeral Home chapel.
