Jane Goodbread received Widow’s Pension Checks. The last one was returned March 1858, so it is presumed that she died shortly before that.57

It has also been reported726 that Jane Goodbread Henson died in 1881 at the age of 116:

Note by Clayton Heathcock, 7 December 2020: It is my opinion that a couple of generations may have been compressed into one. The Find A Grave listing for Jane Goodbread Henson725 states that she waas born in Rutherfofd Co NC, died at the age of 116 years old, and was the daughter of Philip Goodbread and Catherine Souder from Germany. In fact, the Philip Goodbread who was b in Germany in 1726 had a wife named Catherine, but there is no record of her last name. It was actually Jane Goodbread’s brother Philip Goodbread Jr. who was married to Catherine Souder.

This makes me wonder if the Jane Goodbread who married John Henson actually was a daughter of Philip Goodbread Jr. and his wife Catherine Souder, and who died at a more reasonable age of about 95 instead of 116.
