Middleburg, Ky. Fanny Compton, 78, of Middleburg, Ky., mother of Mrs. Richard Crigler of 2732 poplar, died at 4:01 a.m. Nov. 28 at St. Joseph's hospital in Lexington, Ky.. of an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Compton was born in October. 1896, in Middleburg, to Alfred and Nellie Royalty. Her husband, Carlos Compton, died April 7, 1958.
Also surviving are two other daughters, Lina Wells of Yosemite, Ky., and Lorine Trosper of Lexington. Ky.; three sons, Marvin L. Compton of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Columbus, C M. and Kenneth Compton, both of Bowling Green, Ky.; 14 grandchildren, including Lynna, Carlos. Rene and Ronny Crigler, all of 2732 Poplar, and Jimmy Compton of 2661 Milmar court; and three great-grandchildren.
