Couple Dies Within Hours In Nursing Home932 Linton, Ind. (Spl.)––Funeral arrangements were made yesterday for an elderly couple living in a nursing home here who died wtthin a few hours of each other Tuesday.
Mrs. Lida Brewer, 69 years old, died an hour after being told of the death of her husband, Boyd Thomas Brewer, 72, who had died eight hours earlier. Both had been ill several months.
The couple had moved to the nursing home last March after living in Indianapolis 18 years. Mr, Brewer retired about five years ago as a barber in Indianapolis.
Mr. and Mrs. Brewer are survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bell of Santa Paula, Cal. and Mrs. Tressa Christy of Bloomington, and a son, Floyd Cleverly of Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Welch & Cornett Funeral Home at Linton, with burial in Bethel Cemetery at Sandborn.

Man, Wife Expire Here This Morning931 An elderly man and his wife passed away in a space of nine hours, at the Glenburn Rest Haven home here today.
Boyd Thomas Brewer, 72 years old, died at 1:00 o’clock this morning at the home here and his wife, Mrs. Lida Brewer, 69, passed away at 10:00 a.m.
Mr and Mrs. Brewer had made their home at Rest Haven since March 18.
Mr. Brewer was born in Virginia on Jan 10, 1874, the son of Alpha and Isaac Johnson Brewer.
Mr. Brewer is survived oy two daughters, Mrs. Tressa Christy of Bloomington and Mrs. Dorothy Bell of Santa Paula, Calif. Mrs. Brewer is survived by one son, Floyd Crevley of Indianapolis, and a nephew, Raymond Martin, also of Indianapolis.
The bodies of both Mr. and Mrs. Brewer were taken to the Welch and Cornett Funeral home here. Funeral arrangements had not been completed this afternoon.
