Mrs. Chas. Gossett Dies At Home This Morning
Resident of Taylor For the Iastt Forty-Five Years939 Mrs. Charles M Gossett passed away at her home, 517 W 7th street, this morning at 8;20 o'clock after a snort illness. Mrs Gossett was born August 28 1869, at Waterloo, Kentucky, and had resided in Taylor for the past forty-five years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1941.
Mrs. Gossett was a life-time member of the Baptist church and was active in church work up to the time of her decease.
She is survived by herr mother, Mrs J W Rainwater of Vernon, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Lex Word, of Kyle, Texas, Mrs. Sam Darden of Waco, and Mrs. B. A. Hamilton of Taylor; one son, Carroll C. Gossett of Taylor; six sisters, Mrs. P. C. Rainwater, Mrs. J. P. Aderholt, Mrs H. L. Lutterell, Mrs. Chas. Aderholt, Mrs. A. F. Gaston, Mrs. John Brownlee; two brothers, Miles Rainwater and Roscoe Rainwater.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 5 o’clock, from the Forwood-Condra Funeral home with the Rev Edward Clark of the First Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in the City cemetery.
