Notes for David Frank Davis
David F. Davis served in the military. Volunteered for the army. He went through the second Officers' Training Camp at Camp Stanley and received a lieutenant's commission in the Signal Corps. He was discharged from the army at Gerstner Field, Louisiana, as post supply and disbursement officer. He was a senior member of the law firm of Davis & Wright in San Antonio and served as County Attorney. He was a member and usher of the First Baptist Church, a member of the American Legion, and a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.1183
