Miss Gladys Hobbs Dies At Her Home Near City Of Tempe1274
TEMPE, Ariz. May 11 Miss Gladys Hobbs, 17, died Saturday afternoon shortly after 4 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pleas Hobbs, in the Kyrene district. Her death followed a short illness from typhoid fever. She is survived by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Double Butte cemetery, with Rev. Russell E. Clay, pastor of the Tempe Methodist church, in charge.
