MRS. WILLIS B. HUNT1577DYERSBURG, Tenn., July 7 – Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Warren Hunt, who died Tuesday afternoon at her home near Dyersburg, was held Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock in the First Baptist Church with Dr. A. M. Voll-mer officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with Curry & Son in charge. She was 81.
Member of a well known West Tennessee family, she and her husband, Willis B. Hunt, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in November, 1942. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Mrs. Ruth Hearn of Tulsa. Okla., Mrs. Ed Reagan of Dyersburg, Orrin Hunt, W. R. Hunt of Humboldt and Cyril Hunt of Dyersburg, Ned Hunt of Blytheville, Ark., and W. E. Hunt of Fruitland.
Willis B. Hunt, 96, Dies at Home of Son1578 Just one day after his 96th birthday, Willis Bennett Hunt, died at the home of his son. Orrin Hunt, three miles south of Morehouse about 6 p.m. Thursday.
He was born Sept. 14, 1859 in Gibson County. Tenn. and came to this community about 10 years ago to make his home with his son.
He is survived by five sons: Walter Hunt, Fruitland, Tenn., Ney Hunt. Memphis; Orrin Hunt, Sikeston: Renel Hunt, Duersburg, Tenn. and Cyril Hunt, Union City. Tenn.; by one daughter. Mrs. Ruth Hearn, Tulsa. Okla.; 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Welsh Funeral Home this afternoon to Dyersburg, Tenn., where funeral services will be conducted in the Curry Funeral Home chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. E. D. Owen, pastor of the First Bantist church here officiating. Burial will be in Dyersburg cemetery.
