Mrs. Megginson Dead.1900
Mrs. Polly Ann Megginson, of Penton, died last Saturday. The interment took place at Mt. Hickory. She was at the time of her death 69 years old, having been born in Harris county, Ga. Februrary 1, 1831. She was the mother of nine children, of whom six are living. She was a devout member of the Primitive church and was highly honored by all who knew her. In her death her friends and relatives lose one whose place is hard to fill. The Sun offers to the bereaved the sympathy which all so much need in such an hour. A more extended notice will appear later.
