Funeral servies for Carlos Chavido, 60, who died Wednesday at his home, 230 E Commerce St, will be held Saturday afternoon. A native of Uvalde, he lived here for 40 years. He was a member of the 5th US Marines in the last war and was with the US 1st Army in Champagne, France, where he was wounded. He was also a member of the Motor Transport No 1533 and Veteran of Foreign Wars. Survivors include a sister, Mrs Mary Inez Chavido McKenzie of Albuquerque NM and a brother, Frank Chavido of Shamrock."
