Funeral services were held today for the Rev. Arch A. Tharp, Sr., 91, father of Harold Allen Tharp of Alamogordo.
The services were held in the First United Methodist Church of Grove, Tex., where the Rev. Tharp served as associate pastor. Interment was In Greenlawn Memorial Park, Port Arthur, Tex.
The Rev. Tharp is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise Tharp; three sons, Harold of Alamogordo, James A. of Dallas, and A. A., Jr. of Grove, Tex.; one sister; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
