Neal is listed as between 30 and 40 years old, his wife as 20 to 30, one female child 5 to 10 years and three children, two boys and a girl under 5. Living in order are Jacob Sessums, Jesse Courtney and then Neal Williams. Charity Sessums daughter of Jacob married 1. a Courtney I know that for sure..submissions show Jesse Courtney...it looks to be a fit but was someone just assuming from this census. I don't know yet. The 1840 census has a Niel Williams in Newton County, Mississippi - Niel 40 to 50, wife 30 to 40, one female 15 to 20, two boys 10 to 15, two girls 10 to 15, and two boys under 5. There is also listed on female slave 10 to 24 years old.
The 1850 census lists Neals Williams in Attala County, Mississippi - Neal 56 Farmer from North Carolina, Mary 42 from North Carolina, Penny N. 18, Jacob 16, Sarah 6, all from Mississippi.
The 1860 census lists N. Williams living in Canton, Madison County, Mississippi - N. Williams 64, Mary 52, Sarah 17, next door is Solomon Williams 23 and wife Ellen 19
