DRESDEN. Tenn, May 7 Services for J. W. Thomas will be held today at 2:30 at the Methodist Church.
Mr. Thomas died Thursday night. He was born near Humboldt and came to Dresden to practice law in 1890. For 20 years he had been chairman of the Weakley County Democratic Executive Committee. He leaves his wife, the former Miss Virginia Matthews of Humboldt, and a daughter, Mrs. Marie Parks. A son, 'William Thomas, died some weeks ago.
