Phillip Pantier served with the Lincoln Co VA (now KY) Militia in 1782.
2828Philip served in the Lincoln County Kentucky Militia under George Rogers Clark in 1779 and 1782 against the Indians in Ohio. Philip was a friend to Daniel Boone and accompanied him on his early trips into Kentucky. He helped to build Boonesborough. Their son, James, was the second white male child born in Kentucky. Some records are from the Sherwood Family Bible (Jewell line).
