The said John Wyke, son and heir of Richard, was a knight of the Bath at the marriage of Arthur son of Henry VII. with the Princess Catharine of Spain, and was succeeded in the possession of this manor by Richard Wyke, who held it with Withiel of the Bishop of Winchester, the latter end of the reign of Henry VII.3128
