Charles lived in New Kent Co. Va. [later Kinf and Queen Co. Va.] He patented land in Essex Co. Va. but he died before a clear title was granted to his wife. Mary Gresham secured title by appeal to the council [Liber Bk 13 page 22] Their only known child was William born 1719
