Edna Wells Smith of Seguin died Thursday, Oct. 22, at the age of 99.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Goetz Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Eikenburg officiating. Interment will follow in the Concrete Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith had been postmaster at La Vernia for over 27 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Smith DeLany and Aubrey Jean Smith Busby, both of Seguin; three grandchildren, Joan Smith Ray of Floresville, Diana karen Busby Ewick of San Antonio and Kevin Lee Busby of Kenedy; five great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
