He was a brilliant Physician, lay pastor, friend to many and caring and kind to all. He loved orthopedics, ER and teaching. His ministry and passion were for helping and healing others. Dr. Smoot had a servant’s heart and loved giving more than receiving.
He loved his family! Heather and his boys were his life. He spoiled and loved them all. Dr. Smoot suffered and fought demons of addiction and his struggles were real. He would want that said. If his life story could save one addict, he would be proud.3694
