James Arnell3791 HUGO, Okla. — James Arnell, 62, of Oklahoma City died Friday, Sept. 9,1994, at his residence.
Services were scheduled for noon Monday, Sept. 12, at Springs Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Dempsey Cosper officiating. Mt. Olive Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Anrell was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, a son of John and Sallie Pitts Arnell. He worked as a sign printer for Sign's & Design's in Rush Springs prior to retirement. His wife, Lillie Ruth, died in May 1994.
Surviving are five daughters, Virginia Ramos of Dallas, Carolyn Spradlin of Oklahoma City, Opal Young of Oklahoma City, Margaret Cooper of Paris, Texas, and Linda Estrada of Waco, Texas; two sons, Aaron Amell of Oklahoma City and James Walter Arnell of Sherman, Texas; a sister, Inez Cochran of Hugo; a numer of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Thomas Willis Davis3790 SHERMAN — Thomas Willis Davis, 66, of Sherman died Monday, July 2.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Westhill Cemetery in Sherman. Waldo Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Tahoka, Texas, a son of Letus and Vera Wilkinson Davis. He married Pauline Chappell on June 22, 1956, in Clovis, N.M. He was a mechanic at Sherman Metal Co., retiring in 1976. He attended Tahoka schools and served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, James Arnell of Fort Worth and Bobby Skates of Fort Worth; four daughters, Alice Minchey of Sherman, Linda Jackson of Sherman, Joyce Bridgers of Paris and Patricia Braziel of Fort Worth; a brother, L.B. Davis of Lubbock; two sisters, Lucille Gates of Lubbock and Nora Davis of Woodfield; 19 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
