Frances Ellen Par of Waelder, Texas and formerly of San Antonio passed away Sunday at the age of 80. She was born in Gonzales County on September 26, 1922 to the late Clarence and Eva Cox Low. She married Truman Parr on February 5, 1942. Received her Masters Degree In Education from Trinity University. She retired as an Administrator for the Olmos Elementary School in the San Antonio North East School District before returning to Gonzales County. She was an active member of the Waelder Baptist Church. Survived by her husband Truman Parr of Waelder, TX, sons and daughters-in-law: David & Sandra Parr of Austin, Richard & Cheryl Parr of Boeme, grandchildren. Brian. Steven and wife Sara. Justin and Kimberry Parr, great grandchildren, Kristopher and Madison Parr, sisters: Katherine Kelley of Austin and Marjorie Evans of Greenville, SC, brother, Winston Low of Victoria and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother David Low. Services will be held at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home in Gonzales at 2 p m. Wednesday February 12, 3003 with Rev. Joe Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Waelder Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to I p.nx Memorials may be made to Waelder City Library.
