He was born in Brown county, Kan.. May 8, 1891. and his parents took a claim near Blackwell at the opening of the Cherokee Strip.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Edna Ebert; two sons, Dorovan, St. Joseph, Mo., and Joe of the home: four daughters, Mrs Denning Harris, Los Angeles; Mrs Gwendolyn Nicolet, Bend, Kan.; Mrs. Daphne Ryan, Wichita; and Cherry of the home; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Ebert, Blackweil; three brothers. Glen and Ed. of Blackwell. and Ola of Los Angeles: and six sisters. Mrs, Dean Richardson and Mrs. Billle Frost. Blackwell: Mrs. Very! Wintcrmotc.
