BAYTOWN - Ruby Alice King, 88, of Baytown died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995.
She was born Jan. 26, 1907, in Port Lavaca. She was a retired sales supervisor for Baptist Book Store of Houston. Mrs. King was a member of Daughters of Republic of Texas and Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughters, Joype Steffen of Houston and Joan Pruett of Baytown; sisters, Muriel Denning of Stockdale and Jewel Hargrove and Ruth Billings, both of Port Lavaca; nine grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, James F. King; and sisters, Lorena Wagner and Florence Wehmeyer.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Myers Funeral Home, the Rev. David Bush officiating.
Burial will be at Stockdale Cemetery, Myers Funeral Home, Stockdale, (210) 996-3811.
