Edgar Lee Asbury, born March 17, 1921 in Stockdale, Texas and raised up in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
He is survived by wife, Eula Adell Asbury and children, Charles and Pam Asbury, William and Irene Asbury, Jerry and Connie Asbury, Lois and Bill Bettis, Melvin and Janey Asbury, Larry and Dian Asbury, Alvin and Donna Asbury, and Jody and Terry Cunningham. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton, followed by a 12:00 pm graveside service at Jourdanton City Cemetery.
