Funeral services for Mrs Villa Davis, 74, Rt. 2, Slaton, will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Acuff Church of Christ with Travis Boyd of Aspermont offlciating
Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis, a resident of Lubbock County since 1901, died in Methodist Hospital Monday following a lengthy illness.
She was a charter member the Acuff Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, G. C. Davis; three sons. V. D. of 4801 36th St., G. C. Jr., 2610 43rd St. and Joe B. of 5417 34 th St.; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Wiliams of 4619 44th St., Mrs. W. H. Nichols of McCamey and Mrs. A. M. McCaghren of Wylie; two brothers, Emmett Burford of 2010 17th St.. and Raymond Bufford, of 2511 33rd. St.; a sister, Mrs. O. E. Rush, of 2821 5th St., 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren,
Pallbearers will be S. Davis, D. D. Davis, Eric Williams, Mike Davis, Jerry Davis, Bill Davis, Tim Williams and Jimmy McCaghren.
