VICTORIA - Carl David Clark of Victoria passed away Sept. 23, 2009. Carl was born in Floresville on March 14, 1944, to Maggie Irene Hennessey and Claude Davis Clark of Floresville.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Irene Hennessey; father, Claude Davis Clark; sister, Ruth Kathleen Stewart; and brother, Richard Earl Clark.
Carl was survived by sisters, Emma Joyce Clark, Mar Via Elaine Blankenship, and Mary Elizabeth McGowan; brothers, Jimmy Claude Clark and Billy Joe Clark; his children's mother, Karen Clark; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and John Brzozowske, Leah and Jason Petty, and Krystal and Jeff Threet; grandchildren, Isaac and Tesia Brzozowske, Brittney and Jonathon Petty, Chandler and Christian Threet.
Funeral services will be at Franklin Funeral Home, 914 Third St., Floresville, Texas 78114; you can call 830-393-0459 for further information. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009. Burial will be at the Floresville City Cemetery. Clergyman will be the Rev. Jennings.
Pallbearers will be Kiley Clark, Chad Clark, Elias Pena, David Stickle, Scott McGowan, and Lee Chacon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Rodgers, Gary Pelech, and Gayland Pelech. A memorial ceremony for Dave will be held at Heritage Funeral Home at 8819 U.S. Hwy 87 North in Victoria on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009.
