Belle was the daughter of Archibald and Elizabeth (Adams) Coulter. She married Rev. Joseph L. Lane in 1876 in MO and had 9 children, 2 died in infancy; Eliza, Isaac, Edger, Minnie, Eugenia (Jean), Dianah,Joseph (Dolph), Lucinda and Richard. Belle died while visiting her daughter Lucinda and family in OR. She is survived by 4 children.4204

Joseph was born on Big Creek in Iron Co., to Rev. Isaac and Dianah (Huff) Lane and an only child. He married Belle Coulter 1876 in Piedmont, MO. They had 9 children, 2 died in infancy. His wife, two sons and five daughters survive him. He was ordained in 1905 and preached his last sermon Nov. 1911.4203
