FARMINGTON Wendell E, Harbison, 77, passed away, on February 28, 2005, He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elsie (Cozart) Harbison; his wife, Alene (Haywood) Harbison, two brothers, Winfred and Norman and a sister, Patricia.

He is survived by a son, Gary Harbison and wife Catherine; a daughter, Evelyn G. LeGrand; a sister, Sandra Crowe; five grandchildren: Jason J. LeGrand of Denver, CO, Wesley B. Harbison, Rebecca Evelyn Harbison, William P. Harbison and Samuel F. Harbison, all of Jefferson City, and his sweetheart, Helen Ledbetter.

Friends may call at the Cocan Memorial Chapel today at 7:30 am. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a 111. Burial with Military Honors will be at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the Democratic National Party. FARMINGTON - Alene Harbison, 71, of Farmington, passed away Feb. 7, 2000, at the Parkland Health Center. She was born Nov. 9, 1928, at De Soto, to the late Guy Haywood and Alice (Carter) Haywood.

Mrs. Harbison was a home-maker. She was a long-time member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wendell; by a son, Gary and wife, Catherine of Jefferson City; by a daughter, Evelyn LeGrand of Denver, CO; by five grandchildren: Jason LaGrand of Ithaca, NY and Wesley, Rebecca, Samuel and William Harbison of Jefferson City; by three brothers: Winston and Earl Haywood of St. Louis and Wesley Haywood of Eugene, OR; by two sisters, Virginia Huitt of Bend, OR and Iva Jean Wells of Desloge; by a half-brother, Larry Haywood of Farmington; by two half-sisters, Mary Haywood of Phoenix, AZ and Susie Boashart of Troy; and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at the Coz-ean Funeral Home after 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at the Cozean Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. on Thursday with Pastor Mel Skeen and the Rev. Tim Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
