Mrs. Gladys Vera Hill, 33, Wife of James Hill, died at 4:50 p. m. Saturday.
Mrs. Hill had been suffering from asthma and a heart affliction for several days, and was being taken to Challenge Saturday afternoon In hope the change of climate would improve her condition. While riding up the Stanfield Hill grade she died.
Born In Abilene, Texas, she had lived in Oroville for about 18 years. Surviving besides the husband are two children, Kenneth Jean Walsh, 16, and Vivian Clair Walsh, 14; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Cadenhead, all of Oroville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday and Hamilton and Riley's with Reverend H. C. Bever officiating. Interment will be in Oroville cemetery.
