Mrs. Rose Williams Services Thursday4329
Mrs. Rose P. Williams, wife of a local paint store owner, G. C. Williams, died at 3:25 a. in. today in a local hospital where she had heen a patient for four days. The family home Is located at 1415 Wallace.
Funeral rites have been scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Charles V. Steed Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jesse Watson, former Clovis minister now in Fort Sumner, and Harry Hannum, will officiate and burial will be in the Mission Garden of Memories.
Mrs. Williams had been bedfast for several years after suffering a crippling stroke. She was 72 years. She first came to New Mexico and Curry county In 1907. Her husband C. Williams also confined lo the home of failing health, operated the G. C. Paint Store for many years. It is now operated by their only son. Allan Williams.
Survivors are the husband, son and three grandchildren (five great grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Methodist Church..
