Graves-Sallis4401Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ewing Graves, Jr., of Greenville, formerly of Winona, announce the engagement of their daughter. Miss Harrylyn Graves, to William Charles Sallis, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lawrence Sallis of Greenville.
The wedding will be March 2 at First Methodist Church in Greenville.
Miss Graves was graduated from Greenville High School where she was a member of the Na tional Honor Society. She received her bachelor of music degree with distinction from Southwest ern at Memphis' where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Pi KapPsh LAmbda, national hon orary music fraternity: the Southwestern Orchestra and the Southwestern Singers. She was a member of the Modern Dance group and served as a Student Counselor.
The bride-elect was a charter member of the Greenville Sub- Deb Cotillion and a member of the Greenville Junior Cotillion.
Mr. Sallis was also a member of the National Honor Society at Greenville High School. He was graduated from Mississippi State College where he was president of the School of Education and Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
A member of Omicron Delta Kappa, national leadership fra ternity, and Scabbard and Blade, honorary military society, the bridegroom-elect was named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. He belonged to Phi Kappa Phi, honorary scholastic fraternity, and is now completing work on his master's degree in history and government.
