Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Lamar and Smith Funeral Home in Dallas, with burial in Restland Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. McEver was born in McGregor. He was a retired cattleman.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alta Cross McEver; three sons, Bill McEver of Waco, Dixon Connally McEver Jr. of Amarillo and Harry McEver of Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Lela Cross of Garland, Mrs. Retha Grisham and Mrs. Helen Baker, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Jane Dixon of Irving; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
