Born June 7, 1923 in Rake, Iowa, entered into eternal life November 27, 2003. Preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Maria De Jesus Barba; brother, Vincent; sons, Ricardo Carl and David; daughter-in-law, Marilee. He is survived by his wife, Norma; children, Mona, Juan, Anita, Patricia and Vincent. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He sailed in the Merchant Marines and served in the US Navy during WW II and the Korean War. He was charter member of American Legion Posts 1014 in Chicago and 68 in Tucson, ultimately serving as District Vice Commander. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, family, and friends. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2003 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Church 601 E Ft Lowell Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery 5401 S Park Ave.
