Mrs. Myrtle May Smith, 81, of Springdale, died May 24 in the Sprinedale hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1888 in Madison County.
Survivors are six sons, Jewel, Cecil, Orden and Odell, all of Springdale, Elmo of Kingston and Daymon of Tulsa; one daughter, Mrs. Roxie Cook of Kingston; 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the Kingston Community Church with Cecit Garrison and Clyde Johnson officiating. Burial was in Kingston Cemetery under direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were John Shastid, Bobby Ray Cook, J. E. Clark, Bill Griggs, Sammy and Cleburn Smith.
