Albert W. "Dick" Hancock of Scguin died Sunday, Oct. 8, in the New Braunfels hospital at the age of 79.
A rosary will be recited Wednesday, Oct. 11,7:30 p.m. at the Palmer Mortuary Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ores L. "Tootsie" Hancock of Seguin; four sons, Thomas O. Hancock of Elyria, Ohio, Albert W. Hancock II of Beaver Fall, Penn., Roger E. Hancock of Dallas, Wis. and David R. Hancock of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Charlotte M. Hancock Comodeca of Parma, Ohio and Joan Boyd of Hyattsville, Md.; a brother, John E. Hancock of Bessemer, Ala.; also 22 grandchildren and three greal-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Castcllanos, Juan Mendez, Freddie Perc, Fred Wilson, Harold Scotland Jesse Bernal.
