Age 76, of New Port Richey, formerly of Vero Beach, died Saturday, March 26. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the Florida National Guard in Vero Beach. Mr. Jaap was also a retired vocational instructor at The Indian River Community College, a Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion in Vero Beach, VFW member, a Shriner and a York Rite Mason. He is survived by his wife Nancy, five sons, Charles IV of New Port Richey, fames of Anapolis, Maryland, John of Salisbury, N.C., William of Vero Beach, and Gerald of Kent, Ohio; two daughters, Louise - Spiller of Buda, Texas, and Jeanne Koontz of Homestead, Florida; 26 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home in Holiday, Florida.
