Salem M Kouri 73 died Tuesday at his home Funeral will be at 11 am Friday at All Saints' Episcopal Church with burial in Greenwood Memorial Park.
He was born in Merjayoun Lebonon and moved to the United States with his family as a boy.
He moved from Sweetwater to Fort Worth to retire 13 years ago. He owned and operated a women's specialty shop in Sweetwater for 33 years. He was a member of the Lions Club and Elks lodge in Sweetwater. He was member of the All Saints' Episcopal Church in Fort Worth.
Survivors included his wife, Fadwa Kouri of Fort Worth; a son, Dr Eugene M Kouri of Fort Worth; two daughters, Dee Holmes of Fort Worth and Linda Morris of Dallas; three brothers, Sammie Kouri, Samuel Kouri and Jimmy Kouri all of Wichita Falls; a sister, Virgina Horany of Wichita Falls; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
