Rites Held For Roger M. Scott 5165Roger Murray Scott, 72, retired Dublin farmer and rancher, died Saturday, Nov. 4 (1972) in the Dublin hospital.
Services were on Sunday, Nov. 5, with Dean Bradley officiating assisted by Rev. Harris Wallis, pastor of the First Christian Church of Dublin. Burial was in the new Dublin Cemetery.
Mr. Scott was born Oct. 20, 1900 in Hood County and had lived in Dublin for the past 70 years. He married Alice Sloan of Comanche on February 3, 1929. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Dublin.
Survivors are his wife, Alice; daughter, Mrs. Jane Hanes of Euless; brother, Jack Scott, Dublin; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Campbell and Mrs. Bonnie Watts, Dublin; Mrs. Inez Griffey of Kentucky and Mrs. Bessie Howell of Proctor.
Attending the funeral from Comanche were Mrs. Martin Eads, Mrs. lohn King, Mrs. John Hathcock and Miss Berta Goodson.
