Mrs. Amzy Hobbs, 87, died last Friday In a local rest home. She was born Feb. 13, 1878, In Gonzales County, daughter of Phillip Alston and Molly Morris Alston. Her husband A. T. Hobbs, died March 4, 1938.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J D. Freeman of Seguln and Mrs. W, A. Freeman of El Paso; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Phillip Alston of Montana.
Services were held Saturday at Myers Funeral Horne ln Stockdale, with interment In Ecleto Cemetery. Local arrangements were handled by Akin-Myers Funeral Home.
