Very little is known about Brittain Bell. In his 1761 will, his father Thomas Bell named Brittain as one of his children and gave him reversion of the 221 acre plantation on which he lived.478
Getha Gina Bell, "The Bells in U.S.A. and Allied Families, 1650-1977,” shows Courtney Bell as the daughter of Brittain Bell.451 This is an error, as the will of Thomas Bell definitely lists Cortne Bell as his daughter; see discussion under Thomas Bell.
