DEED, dated 27 Feb 1754, rec’d 23 Sep 1754, DB2/163, CLEYTON COOKE of Albemarle & Henrietta, his wife, to Charles LEE of Southam Psh, Cumberland, interest in 250 acres on Great Guinea Creek adjoining John Brown, cooper, part of a tract granted to Richard Henderson, late dec’d, “assigns During the term of the life of his wife Heneriator….”

Cumberland County, Virginia, Deed Book 2, 1752-1760 At 485: an indenture dated 30 December 1758, Samuel Henderson of Granvil County to Charles Lee of Cumberland County for consideration of £13.6.8 current money of Virginia, a parcel of land in Cumberland County on both sides of Great Guinea Creek containing 250 acres, it being part of land that was granted to Richard Henderson by patent dated 30 June 1743 and joining on John Brown and William Cook. Samuel Henderson (L.S.)

24 Sept 1765 (Cumb. Co. OB) Joseph Callard vs. James Davenport Jr. attachment. Joel Davenport, Julius Davenport and Clayton Cook summoned as garnishees in this cause, failed to appear, ordered attachment agst. them.1727
