On his birth certificate #1524 filed 10/31/1918, his name was listed as Elbert Woodrow. This was later changed legally to Robert Elbert. Across the front of the birth certificate was written "Triplet". He only knew of his twin brother....not of triplets. Bill was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Transportation Corp in India. A graduate of Harding College in Searcy, AR, Bill Harris retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad in St. Louis, MO. He was a lay minister for the United Methodist Church and often spoke at small rural churches when called upon. He and Lucille also sang duets and were in the church choir. He was an unassuming, gentle man who loved God and his family. He and Lucille were married over 50 years.
