In June of 1882, Job Chesterman, along with 13 other boys from the Little Boys Home, went to Quebec, Canada, on the ship Polynesian.2848,2849
No further record of Job has been found as of 28 August 2011.
On September 10, 2014, researcher Alistair Tickett was informed by Barnardo’s “Believe in Children” that Job Chesterman was admitted to the Marchmont Home, whose records Barnardo’s are custodians, and that he was emigrated to Canada on 14th June 1882, aged 15.2846
