JOSEPH CHESTERMAN was indicted for stealing, on the 6th of March, 6 3/4 lbs, of lead, value 1s.; the goods of Charles Hensch, and fixed to a building.—2nd COUNT, not stating it to be fixed; to which he pleaded GUILTY . Aged 58. Confined Four Months.2842

Joseph entered the Navy on 9 Dec 1814 and served on HMS Brilliant, a 38-gun frigate, fifth rate, for 8 years and 6 months. HMS Brilliant launched from Deptford on 28 December 1814 and carried a crew of 284. In 1835, he was given a pension of 18 pounds for service in the Navy.674
