Funeral service for Jake Morris Hayley, 60, of Paradise was to be Sunday, July 16, at 11:30 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be at a later date at Wilson Prairie Cemetery in Paradise.
Hayley died July 13, 2000, in Arlington.
Born Sept. 12, 1939 in Seymour, he was a long time resident of Arlington and Grand Prairie area. He worked for Texstar Plastics for over 27 years. He also worked for Bell Helicopter for 6 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie Gilbert King and Jasper Eric Hayley.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ann Hayley of Paradise; a son, James Hayley and wife Mary of Paradise; daughters, Jamie Burns and husband Bruce of Bedford and Janet McCoy and husband Mitchell of Arlington; brothers, Cliff Hayley and wife Delores of Bedford, Dan Hayley and wife Lorene of Winnesboro; sisters, Mary Beth Wines and husband Donnie of Lindale and Carol Butler and husband Dick of Arlington; a step-sister, Syble Wright and husband John of Arlington, Peggy Garvin and husband Lewis of Gilmer; step father, Archie King and wife Bonnie of Arlington; grandchildren, Jason, Camron, and Jamie Taylor, Kimberly Martin, Marissa, Krystal, Adrian and Joey.
Memorial can be made to the Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department or Home Health Care of Wise County.
