COLLIERVILLE- Funeral services for William F. Ireland, 82, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
Mr. Ireland, a retired switchman for Bell South, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Collierville Health and Rehab. He was a WW II Air Force Veteran and was a member of Collierville Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Sanford Ireland of Collierville, TN; daughter, Sarah Frances Ireland Heinz of Collierville, TN; sons, Steven LeRoy Ireland of Collierville, TN and Robert Sanford Ireland of Huntingdon, TN; sisters, Harriet Joan Ireland Ohler of Falbrook, CA, Mildred Frances Ireland Kiser of Vail, AZ and Adelaide Ireland Lynch of Blytheville, AR; brother, Edward E. Ireland of Parker, CO, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Brownsville Funeral Home. His body will lie in state at First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Trinity Cemetery Association or Collierville Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
