SEADRIFT - Mrs. Tula Lucille DeForest. 77, of Seadrift. was pronounced dead on arrival at a Port Lavaca hospital following an unexpected illness.
Mrs. DeForest was born June 18. 1902. in Stockdale. and was a member of Seadrift Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p m. Thursday at Seadrift Baptist Church with the Rev Don Gallitin. pastor, officiting.
Burial will be in Seadrift Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home of Port Lavaca Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers.
Surviving are her husband, Lane DeForest, and a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Thormalen, both.of Seadrift; a brother, Jake Rice of Victoria; a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.
