Elizabeth J. Aldrich of 221 Shaw, Elvins died Sept. 23 at Bonne Terre Hospital. She was born June 7, 1881 at Glover, daughter, of the late William Gilman and Lavina Huff Gilman.

She was preceded in death by her husband Homer C. Aldrich; one son Marvin; one daughter Virgie (Mrs. Layton McFar-land); and two step sons, John and Albert Aldrich.

Surviving are: six children, Edna (Mrs. H. E. VanDyke) of Poplar Bluff, Irene (Mrs. Arthur Aslinger) of Caledonia, Lena (Mrs. Elva. Russell) of Route one, Elvins, Frances (Mrs. Chade Tinker) of St. Louis, Harold Aldrich of Rt. one, Elvins and Helen (Mrs. Othel McFarland) of Viburnum; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Pearson of Glover and Augusta Mayberry of Rt. one, Piedmont; 23 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren.

Chapel service will be 1 p.m Thursday with the Rev. Don Stanley officiating. Interment will be in the K of P Cemetery. The body will be in state after 7 tonight at Murphy Sparks Chapel, West Main, Flat River.
