J. R. SANSING DIES AT COUNTY LINE4138

J. R. Sansing, father of W. R. and Miss Ada Sansing of Newton, died at his home at County Line last Friday night, May 25, following an extended illness.

Mr. Sansing was born February 15, 1857, being seventy-seven years of age at the time of 'his death. Mr. Sansing made his home with his son, Leon, at County Line. His wife died about six years ago. He was a devout member of the Baptist Church, and was a deacon ot the County Line Church. He had stated about three weeks prior to bis death that he had missed only one sermon at the County Line Church in 35 years.

Mr. Sansing lived a very active life and was well beloved by all those who knew him. He is survived by nine ! children, Mrs. R. L. Easom, Memphis; Mrs. Charles Levy, Canton; Lev, Oscar and Leon Sansing, and Mrs. H. L. Laird, Union; Mrs. F. S. Vance, ColIinsville; W. R. and Miss Ada Sansing, Newton; and twenty one grandchildren.

Funeral services weie conducted Saturday afternoon at his church, with Rev. Eugene Stevens and Rev. Johnny Breland in charge, assisted by Rev. E. A. Phillips, Xewton; and Rev. G. O. Parker, Union. Pall bearers were Lamar and Gordon Sansing, Ike Laird, Herman Easom, Howard Williams and Bill Sadler.
