Glen E. Huitt Jr., 54, of Salem died Saturday of complications from heart disease.
He was born in Hiawatha, Utah, and moved from Eugene to Salem in 1978. He was a painting supervisor for the Salem-Keizer Public Schools and then was a self-employed painting contractor. He retired in 1989 and was an avid hunter and taxidermist.
Survivors include his wife, Diana; sons, Dale of Fayetteville, N.C., and Michael of Bend; daughters, Tammy Huitt of Kailua, Hawaii, Kathleen McAllister of Aloha and Jennifer Huitt of Salem; mother, Virginia Huitt of Bend; brother, Garry of Bend; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Arrangements are by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary. Contributions: Kingdom Hall.
